I've been really busy lately and haven't had any time to blog or draw much for fun so I've been MIA from blog world for a few weeks. Hopefully, the busy stretch is over and I can get back to fun.
Here are a couple of sketches from the life drawing session yesterday. I tried a new pen and it was pretty awesome. I picked it up last year at the local art store and then forgot to use it. It's a simple Staedtler ball point pen but it's so much and easy to use.
Here's a couple of ATCs done a few weeks back for a swap on iATCs. Motorocycle boots and a man in the long black coat. The boots are watercolor and ink and the man in basically pen & ink with a shade or two of markers on top.
Yes you've been missed on PPF. Excellent work. Your atc's are wonderful. Happy PPF,

Love your ATCs. They must have paid that model a fortune to sit for you all. Most of us older folks cover up as much as we can. I can't imagine sitting in my birthday suit with all the wrinkles and saggy skin for all the world to see. You did a great job of drawing this.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine it either! I'd be way too shy. Funnily enough, most of our models are older and on the heavier side. It doesn't matter to us of course, the more curves and lines, the better to draw I think. We don't have so many young models.
DeleteI love your life drawings! I just took a figure workshop and am intending on going to a weekly life drawing class! It is super fun!
ReplyDeleteI adore your life sketches too! I love how you manage to get such detail with just a few lines!
ReplyDeleteI really like those drawings in pen. And so much detail in that man the size of an ATC ... Great work!
ReplyDeleteGreat live drawings and love the ATCs. Valerie

Terrific ATCs! Can't wait to see the rest of them! Beautiful life drawing of course! (One day I'll get to whole bodies. Maybe!) :)
