29 Faces: Face 1!

Woohoo!

Day 1 of the 29 Faces art challenge and here is my messy entry. This is a digital painting done in Photoshop.

I spent about 46 - 60 mins on this since I don't have a lot of time today. I hope to spend more time on some of the other portraits and try for a variety of styles and mediums.  Maybe I'll do the same face in many mediums and styles and see how that turns out. Could be an interesting experiment.

    did you say messy? I don't see that..... it is a wonderful face, i love the geometry, each facet and plane that i see.

    Wow, I would never have that thought that this was a digital painting. Great idea to see the same face in different mediums....look forward to your remaining faces.

    That would be cool--same face in lots of different ways. Messy? This doesn't look messy to me. You are very adept at this digital painting business. I have Corel Painter, but I've never gotten very good at using it.

    I think I share the shock of everyone else! I can't believe this is digital! So BEAUTIFUL! You make me want to get a better computer and Photoshop and practice, practice, practice! I can't wait to see what you do tomorrow!
