Here's my second face for the 29 Faces art challenge.
I went with a digital painting again since that's my favorite! I'll have to try traditional for tomorrow's face. :)
I stuck up some of my WIPs too since I always find them fun to look at when others post them. It's cool to see a painting come to life from a few scratchy strokes.
Hey Sal looking forward to seeing your faces - love your work my friend.
ReplyDeleteYour faces have so much character. I hope to see lots more in the coming days. (I have no idea how one makes a digital drawing although I have Photoshop Elements and can do things to photos.)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Faye! Drawing digitally is much like drawing with a pencil or pen. You use a Wacom pen and draw on a Wacom tablet (that acts as the paper). I use my Wacom pen just like a brush to create the faces. It's painting with pixels :)
DeleteI really love the way you've used color in this one. And she's got so much personality! Very cool that you're doing this challenge! I should do it at some point but too busy this month. :D
ReplyDeleteOMG they seem pic!your faces are incredible wow
ReplyDeleteI have never painted digitally and I don't know how you do it, but it's amazingly real and I love it!

Faye beat me to it! I was going to ask if you used a mouse for your digital drawing or if you had some sort of pen-mouse contraption! Perhaps I could do better with a pen-mouse, because I am NOT good with the regular mouse...
ReplyDeleteBut your work is GORGEOUS! And I love the w-i-p pics so much...it's very cool to see the different stages!
