Ok, so I just recolored the other cat. That counts too, right? :)
I stuck him on objects and shirts here and over at Skreened.

Noses & Life
Today's drawing prompt at IllustratedATCs was, "The Nose Knows" so I went with the obvious and made a bunch of noses. There is still time to have a better idea! I have 6 days left for this one. :)
At right is a portrait from today's life drawing session. I believe this pose was about 35 minutes or so. Done in brown colored pencils.

One
The drawing prompt this week at IllustratedATCs was "one" so I went with the saying, "there's always one." This is a quickie sketch in Photoshop.

I rock my sandals!
This new millennium beatnik rocks his sandals. This fashionable look is hard to pull off but the hippie with the long red hair has done it. Bravo! With his ban the bomb t-shirt and faux antlers, he's ready to join the protest. Vive la revolution!
Here is my friendly little hippie guy with the antlers. This guy absolutely rocks his sandals and he doesn't even need socks to do it. I made a version with text at left and one without at right. Made in Photoshop. You can find this design at Skreened and at Zazzle too.

Still Life Art
Some Artist Trading Cards from a recent swap on IllustratedATCs.com. These card themes are way out of my comfort zone! I never do still life art or sunsets, or landscapes. So a nice exercise for a change. These are acrylic on the left and watercolor + pencil on the right.

Outstanding + Alley Cat
Here are a couple of new designs from last week. A cool tom cat / alley cat and my glorious little winged angel who is truly outstanding. The winged guy can be either glorious or outstanding. I made two designs for him.
Both done in Photoshop. You can find them in one of my stores, either Zazzle or Skreened.

Illustration Friday: Eyeglasses
Here's my lovely librarian in her super reading glasses. She won't miss a word with these specs. I think these behemoths put the 80s aviators to shame. And sadly, I might have worn glasses like these in school. How embarrassing.
I painted this a while back, in Photoshop. But it fits this IF perfectly. :)

World Holder
I made this guy for Earth Day. It's coming up soon. I wanted to cover him in tattoos originally but I'm glad I didn't now. He just has a mini peace sign but I sort of figured that goes with Earth Day too. You can find this one on posters and other items at my store.

I am ONE with the Tree!
I turned my quick "roots" sketch today into a t-shirt design. I thought this would make a good tree lover shirt. Everyone loves trees, I think. You can find this one at Skreened and Zazzle.
Roots
A quick sketch for a drawing group over at IllustratedATCs.com. This week's prompt was "roots" so I went with the obvious, a tree though monstrous root veggies might have been interesting as well. Mad carrots, raving radishes.
Sketch done in Photoshop.

Steampunk Aircycle Champion!
Here's a somewhat new design I made today. I actually painted this as a scenic illustration a couple of years ago but took the steampunk air cycle out and made it stand alone. This is the Nellie Mae, the winner of the 1916 Melton Mowbray Air Cycle Championships.
I opened a design shop on Skreened. They have some nice quality T-shirts there, and they are an ethical POD company. Cool. Click the button below to visit my new store.

Illustration Friday: Yesterday
Here are a couple of glittering divas from 1977. Two little monsters who love to disco dance and get their groove on. This dancing duo swing round the dance floor in their hot club outfits, knocking the socks off of the audience. No one dances better than this pair of cute monsters. Disco fashion will never die. Designed for my store but they totally fit Illustration Friday this week so this post gets to do double duty. I love when that happens. And nothing is more yesterday than disco. Then again, a comeback is probably around the corner.
Goth Kids
Here are some creepy little cemetery goth kids with a penchant for anarchy and mayhem. These two were in a sketch I did a few years back but I thought they'd look good on a shirt or a notebook so I cleaned them up and stuck them in my store.

Zombies have families
Here are a couple of zombie designs made yesterday. Zombies can have zombie families, right? That's what I thought. These were made in Photoshop. Looks pretty cool on a shirt.

Life Drawing
Here's one from yesterday's session, a 20 minute pose. I absolutely adore drawing this model. She's so good at modelling and makes the nicest poses, plus she rarely ever moves. It's such a wonderful thing to draw someone who sits so still.
I think modelling must be a difficult thing to do. I don't think I can manage to sit still for longer than 5 minutes without getting a cramp somewhere!
There's an upcoming life drawing marathon session at my local art place in a couple of months. It goes on for about 12 hours. I'm not sure I could last longer than 3 hours drawing that intensely but I plan on attending. Should be interesting.
