Punky Penguins
A new design featuring some punky penguins. I liked the little guy I drew last week and wanted to splash his chubby cuteness on T-shirts and other things. I'd wear one!

Sir, I give you... this bird
"Sir, I give you... this bird" was the prompt for this week's drawing session at IllustratedATCs. And that's exactly what I drew. Ok, so not very imaginative. But the punky, striped penguin is sort of cute.
Not a very finished sketch but I only spent about 20 minutes on it. I may make more punky penguins sometime in the future.

It should always be cupcake time
I made a bunch of different colored cupcakes today for stickers but then thought it would be delicious to put them all on one clock. It's always cupcake time I think!
Weary Old King
Here's a weary old king design that I'm working on for someone, it will actually be a tattoo. He wants a black and white comic style, like Sin City. It should be done for next week. Be interesting to see it morph from messy sketch into nice clean lines.
Life Drawing
A couple of sketches from today's life drawing session. I think these were both about 15 mins. I used charcoal for a change and it was good. I usually always use a colored pencil or a pen so it felt fat and smudgy. It's been a long time since I used charcoal but it was a nice change and I'll give it another whirl next week.

More monsters and skulls
Here are a couple of things I've been working on lately, more designs of course. At left is the slightly evil party crew and at right is a small Day of the Dead band. You can find both of these designs at one of my stores, either here on a t-Shirt or there on sticker.... and other items too.
Both created in Photoshop.

Illustration Friday: Urban
The small town from a comic I have been working on (ultra slowly) with a friend. This is the tiny village center where our heroine (?) lives above the pizza shop.
It's slightly urban... if you live on a farm.
