Cute Animals & Handsome Pirates

I've been hidden away in my studio for the past couple of weeks, painting animals for upcoming graphic sets. This isn't something I normally paint - cute little bears with balloons -  but it sure has been fun. I've painted cats, bunnies, bears and pandas. I have giraffes, birds and elephants on the go and still need to sketch out some sloths, monkeys and maybe an owl or two.

All of this sweetness is helping me forget about the depressing US news.

So yay for cute! I like cute! But I prefer zombies still. And handsome, bearded pirates who drink beer.

Speaking of beer - it's pub night on Friday! WOO! Happy PPF!

Ugly Christmas Sweaters

Life drawing madness - I'm back in! I used to run a local life drawing session for a few years and I was at the art centre every week, drawing away. But it got to be too much with work and I gave it up. Now I barely go which is a shame because it's always great practice.  BUT! There are so many online life drawing sites that I've been filling up my sketchbook with new drawings. It's been a blast. It's not quite the same of course, but I can draw in my PJs and that sort of thing always makes me happy. Here's a few links for those interested:

Here's a new Christmas graphics set I released this week. I don't actually have any ugly Christmas sweaters but I think I might want one or two now. This set is available on Etsy (without seamless backgrounds) and with them on CreativeMarket. Soon to be available at The Hungry JPEG too.

Is anyone else excited about Christmas yet? I am. LOL. It's ridiculous. I can't wait to decorate later this month.
